Hyperlex alternative: Docform, a standalone French CLM powered by AI
Hyperlex was one of the first French CLMs to bet on AI. Since its acquisition by DiliTrust in 2022, its technology lives inside a broader legal governance suite. Docform offers a standalone CLM, with AI at every step.

Hyperlex is a French contract management vendor founded in 2017, known for machine-learning contract analysis: sorting, indexing, data extraction and key-date alerts. In July 2022, DiliTrust announced its acquisition; the Hyperlex technology joined the DiliTrust Governance Suite, which also includes a board portal, entity management and litigation management. In February 2025, DiliTrust also acquired PACTA. The hyperlex.ai website now redirects to dilitrust.com. Pricing is not published.
What it does well
- Recognized expertise in contract data extraction and analysis of existing portfolios.
- The backing of DiliTrust, an established vendor for the legal departments of large groups.
- A wider scope, beyond contracts, for those seeking a complete governance suite.
What to check before choosing
- Hyperlex is no longer a standalone product: the CLM comes within the DiliTrust suite, whose scope and commercial model go beyond contract management.
- Prices are not published.
- E-signature goes through third-party providers of your choice (DocuSign, Yousign, Adobe Sign, HelloSign, UniverSign, Connective); negotiation works with suggestions and comments.
What Docform brings
- A complete, standalone CLM: from drafting with your templates to post-signature tracking, with no suite to adopt.
- A native eIDAS-compliant e-signature and a negotiation portal for the counterparty.
- The same AI extraction on import, with a link to the source clause for every extracted data point.
- Support for SMEs and mid-market companies, with a rollout by scope.

Frequently asked questions
- Does Hyperlex still exist as an independent product?
- Hyperlex was acquired by DiliTrust in July 2022 and its technology was integrated into the DiliTrust Governance Suite. The hyperlex.ai website now redirects to dilitrust.com; contract management is available within the suite.
- Does Docform take over contracts already analyzed in Hyperlex?
- Yes. Contracts are bulk-imported (PDF, scans, Word) and Docform’s AI extracts parties, dates, durations, notice periods and deadlines again, with a link to the source clause to validate each data point.
- What is the difference between a standalone CLM and a governance suite?
- A suite bundles board, entities, litigation and contracts in one subscription. A dedicated CLM covers the contract lifecycle only; a suite also covers governance: the choice depends on the scope you are looking for.
